Stonewall Creek Vineyards is a small artisan vineyard and winery focused on growing exceptional grapes and making fine wines in the North Georgia mountains.
Located south of Clayton in a pastoral mountain valley at an elevation of 2,200 ft., our vines benefit from warm summer days and cool evenings and ancient mountain soil deposited over millions of years from nearby Glassy Mountain and a meandering Stonewall Creek. We planted our first vines in 2005 and released our first wines in 2012.
Our wines are dry with a sweet white scheduled for release Spring 2015. Stonewall Creek Vineyards label – Grapes from our vineyards (Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Petit Manseng, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Tannat). Standing Deer Cellar label – Grapes from The Stack Farm nearby (Norton and Petit Manseng).
